WashCOG newsletter: Waiting on the governor; social media efforts; and we want to talk with you!

September 2025 —

Getting social with you.

WashCOG is getting more active on social media as we strive to be more effective with our outreach. Here’s our new strategy to reach out more often and effectively.

State House shuns transparency.

We’re appalled at the new policy allowing legislators to immediately delete a growing number of emails and auto-delete many more after 30 days.

The Washington Coalition for Open Government would like to visit with your organization to talk about secrecy creeping into the halls of government. WashCOG wants to help everyone understand what is at stake.
